There was no way I would go 9,000 miles from home and not see half the country! But, horny little devil I am, I was concerned that touring the countryside would hamper my girl- chasing. Read all!

1). In Spain, you will find the stunners that have left Brasil and Colombia for better money and better conditions.
2). Spain and Portugal are only 6 hours away, easily 3 to 4 hrs less in traveling time and $200 or $300 less in airfare.
3.) Spain and Portugal have virtually zero crime rate.
4). Spain and Portugal require no visa and have no entrance nor departure taxes. A lot more people speak English than all the other countries I previously mentioned (Brasil, Costa Rica and Thailand).

nothing can really prepare you for what you will discover in Thailand. The quantity
and quality of girls is unbelievable until actually experienced first hand. I have
been to the DR and many places including TJ in Mexico but not yet to Rio the only
place I imagine can compare.

Oct was someplace new -- I try to go to three
places a year that I've never been too, makes for good reporting and provides excitement
for me (I just love explore new places, as you all know). The rest of the time I
like to return to places I've been too and enjoyed, and then get to know the place
really well. Going to a foreign country (or even a major city) for a week or less
is just scratching the surface and to really understand a destination takes time,
connections and patience. That is why I plan to return to Cartagena and Hainan this
year -- loved these place but so much more to know. Okay, enough, on with the report.

about everyone I mentioned my forthcoming trip to. Admittedly, it is not the first
place that comes to mind when one is planning trips such as these. In fact, the amount
of trip reports and available info is so minuscule that THAT in it's self began to
warm me to the idea. It's good to get off the beaten path from time-to-time....

but we had no trouble clearing with our bags. We thought we might have some trouble
because we had brought a hockey duffel bag full of medical supplies to give to a
facility in Havana. It cleared as well without incident.
